I try to start off most days with a tour of these sites. They give me a more world-wide perspective on the news.

When I want a bit more meat in the commentary I tend to read the writings of Mark Steyn. He has a biting tongue and ruffles a lot of feathers, but his writings have a ring of truth that make me sit up and think.

The following sites are visited to keep abreast of what is happening in the Macintosh World.
MacInTouch is an invaluable read as is Creative Pro. Other sites visited daily are MacCentral , MacNN and MacFixIt.

For my monthly read to flesh out my knowledge on the products I don't have, DIGIT , Computer Arts , PhotoShop User, and Design Graphics, are all worth their cover price.

MACWORLD Expo is the site where you can find out the details of the shows held each year. Of these the best is San Francisco in January. I used to attend this and return to my studio loaded with new software and information brochures. In January 1997 an 1998 both Neil Herber of Eton Systems and I were on the conference faculty.
